Biography

I am a statistician currently working at Zora Biosciences as a bioinformatician. I graduated from University of Helsinki with Master’s degree in statistics with specialization in biometrics. I have previously worked on genetics of dyslipidemias in Finnish family data at at FIMM. Applying linear mixed models to this data was also the topic of my thesis.

Selected Publications

Linear mixed models for estimating heritability and testing genetic association in family data

Linear mixed models (LMMs) are presented in this thesis and they are applied to family data from the European Multicenter Study on Familial Dyslipidemias in Patients with Premature Coronary Heart Disease (EUFAM) -project.
